A little pair of snowy houses that make starting a Christmas village easy. Each stands 11.5cm tall in white ceramic with a snow-heaped roof, but they're not twins: one has a chimney and a wreath on its door, the other a pitched porch and round attic window. Switch on the LEDs and every window glows warm and welcoming – Christmas ornaments at their most charming. They're ideal window sill ornaments, slim enough for a narrow ledge, and lovely small ornaments for tucking between books. As a pair they're one of our favourite Christmas decorations and gifts for teachers and neighbours, and they sit beautifully beside our larger Christmas houses and ceramic houses as the street grows.
Styling tip: Line them up on a window sill with a string of battery fairy lights behind – the reflection in the glass doubles the glow after dark.
